After a difficult accommodation process, Lin Wen and Zhuang Nan were officially together.
A2402 was completely abandoned, and Zhuang Nan had also changed his work attitude.
Before, he worked overtime like mad because he had nothing to worry about. But now that he had something to worry about, he would leave work running faster than a rabbit.

His boss was very dissatisfied with his once very competent subordinate’s now passive work status. “Hey, what have you been doing recently?”

Lin Wen had not talked to anyone other than Zhuang Xian Sheng for a long time. He didn’t utter a sound and held back for a while before thinking that it indeed wasn’t good of him to rashly come over and disturb Zhuang Xian Sheng’s work, so he dejectedly shook his head and prepared to leave. The lady at the front desk looked at him, and her eyes suddenly lit up. “Ah, you’re Lin Xian Sheng! Zhuang Xian Sheng instructed us that if you come, you can go straight to the fourth floor and turn left to his office.” 

Zhuang Xian Sheng had actually instructed such a thing?
He was the one who knew his character best.
Then Zhuang Xian Sheng was holding out great expectations, hoping that out of that one in ten thousandth chance he would take the initiative to find him?

Lin Wen couldn’t leave immediately, and he quietly said a thank you. Seeing the crowded elevator, he didn’t dare go over and chose to take the stairs.
The fourth floor wasn’t high, so he would be able to arrive quickly. Lin Wen found the direction and seeing there weren’t many people on the stairs, he let out a sigh of relief. Suddenly, he heard people whispering in the front.

“Zhuang Xian Sheng has been very passive at work recently.”
“Right, he leaves right after he finishes his work every day. He’s completely different than before..”
“I heard that he’s dating.”
“Tsk, I’ll say. That old pervert actually found someone who likes him?”

Lin Wen’s footsteps paused.
He had encountered many people who would whisper behind his back and slander him, but no matter what they said, he couldn’t care less.

He couldn’t bear other people defaming his Zhuang Xian Sheng like this.

Zhuang Xian Sheng clearly still worked when he was at home and often worked overtime late into the night.
Zhuang Xian Sheng was clearly so gentle and polite.

Lin Wen gritted his teeth and summoned infinite courage. He walked over, his footsteps startling the two people hiding and gossiping there.
He took a deep breath, raised his head, and squared his shoulders as looked straight at the two in front of him. When he spoke, he still stumbled a bit, but he enunciated his words clearly. “Zhuang Xian Sheng is very hardworking. He has a good temperament, and he never gets angry unless you make a mistake. The two beautifully dressed young girls’ expressions went from alarmed to stunned and finally, they puffed out laughing. “Where did this Zhuang Xian Sheng fanboy come from?”
Lin Wen pursed his lips, his expression slightly cold.
The two girls laughed and laughed, although feeling their scalps tingle from his stare. They quickly turned to leave, but just as they went out they startled, their souls nearly jumping out. “Zhuang… Zhuang Xian Sheng!” 

Lin Wen froze for a moment, then lifted his feet and walked out.
Zhuang Xian Sheng was outside in a well-ironed suit. His face was flat, and he indifferently swept his eyes over the two. His gaze then fell onto Lin Wen. “Being lazy and gossiping during your internship, do you not want to become full-time workers?”
Their faces flushed, and they lowered their heads as they quickly ran out.

Not until there was no one around them, did Zhuang Nan extend his hand toward him, his expression warm. “The front desk called and said you came. I guessed that you would take the stairs.”
Lin Wen called him, “Zhuang Xian Sheng…”
“The envy and slander toward this sweet love of mine will get better after some time passes.” Zhuang Nan smiled as he said, “I heard all of it. My Lin Lin was so handsome when he rushed to defend me.”
Lin Wen only thought that he had acted like a fool, and his cheeks burned.

“Did you specially come to find me?”
Lin Wen went with him to his office, shrinking towards him, and he nodded.
Zhuang Nan felt gratified and filled with strength, thinking that even if ten large and difficult clients came to find trouble, none of it would be a problem. He rubbed Lin Wen’s hair. “There are snacks in the office as well as spare notebooks and some games. Stay with me in the office today, and then we’ll go home together once I get off work, okay?”

He held Lin Wen’s hand, feeling greatly at ease.
The staff around them only dared to quickly glance at them and say hello to Zhuang Nan, not staring any further, and continued to busy themselves with their work. 

Lin Wen’s rapid breathing slowly steadied, and he blinked his eyes. It seemed that as long as Zhuang Nan was there… this world wasn’t so much like hell.
He had opened up a path that led to the world for him.

His tensed shoulders gradually relaxed, and Lin Wen tried his hardest to look normal and not care about the indistinct gazes and voices in his surroundings. His palms were sweating, and they were held even tighter by Zhuang Nan.
That was the source of his courage.
Lin Wen grabbed his hand back, every step as if he was walking high in the clouds. He met his gaze and nodded, smiling faintly. “En.”
